Who We Are
We are a Destination Management Company, based in Blantyre, Malawi. We specialise in sustainable, educational, philanthropic and experiential travel to Malawi. Our sister company based in the UK, Orbis Expeditions, specialises in establishing Social Impact, Global Citizenship and Business Development Partnerships in Africa through study programs and impact expeditions.
We provide planning and logistical support for school expeditions, university field trips, charity and adventure challenges. We also look after independent travellers.
Brand Manifesto
Through our tailored educational workshops, family expeditions and challenge events, we work in partnership with inspiring community initiatives offering immersive experiences for students, businesses and independent travellers to gain an insight into key global challenges facing rural communities in Malawi.

The Orbis Foundation
Our company has chosen to work with existing organisations instead of starting our own projects. This is because we believe a more sustainable model of development is garnered through collaboration. We have been working with the same communities in Southern Malawi for 12 years, supporting their income generating initiatives, infrastructure and education programmes. We also work with a number of education, conservation and business training initiatives in Malawi.
Through the Orbis Foundation; a non-profit set up to coordinate our community development efforts, we ensure that the benefits of tourism reach the common Malawian in a village.
